19th ANNUAL FEEL THE HERITAGE FESTIVAL

A Celebration of African- 
American Culture and History

 
On Saturday, Feb. 26, Arlington County will celebrate it's 19th
> Annual Feel the Heritage Festival, a celebration of African
> American history and and culture. This is a great event for the
> whole family that features a great lineup of entertainment and
> education, including arts and crafts for kids, music and dance,
> comedy, and great food! The goals of this exciting event are to
> celebrate African American history, honor Arlington's African
> American heritage, build community and help people connect and have
> fun and promote Arlington's homegrown talent and generate business
> for Arlington's small businesses.

> • Musical and Dance Performances from Image Band and Soul in Motion

> the official dance of the District of Columbia

> • Master of Ceremonies Horace Holmes, Emmy award-winning journalist
> with ABC 7/WJLA-TV; Justine Love, Director of Community/Public
> Affairs WIAD, WJFK, WHFS, WLZL, WPGC; and local talent.

> Feel the Heritage is sponsored by Arlington
> County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources and
> Arlington County Public Schools and is put together by a dedicated
> group of community volunteers.
